From standard project to custom interior
Durlet has executed scores of projects, from standard projects to complete custom interiors:
- The simplest situation is the production of models from the existing collection in a standard upholstery material.
- Durlet also upholsters the same seating with custom materials.
- Durlet can adapt a product from the standard collection to the requirements of the client.
- On request, it designs and produces completely custom made furniture: from built-in seating through loose seating to sofa beds.
- In certain cases, Durlet will upholster other elements than seating, such as walls and floors.
Approach
Durlet approaches projects through a fixed system.
- The R&D department studies the enquiry or drawing of the client.
- It formulates suggestions for optimalisation and quotes a price.
- After approval, Durlet constructs a number of prototypes if desired.
- The whole results in unique, custom made pieces.
The lifetime of Durlet furniture in all cases justifies the sometimes slightly higher initial investment. The many
