Max

The strength of this design lies in its simplicity. However, simple designs are often the hardest. Proportions and dimensions must match perfectly, as well as comfort. The secret of this chair’s seating comfort is the backrest of which the shape provides excellent support. Moreover the backrest is fitted with a specially designed spring system. You will never feel as if you have been sitting against a hard piece of wood, even after several hours of use. Fine, decorative double stitch seams gently accentuate the shape and finish of the chair. The solid oak legs can be stained in various colours or can be upholstered in the same fabric or leather as the other parts of the chair. Only by the choice of colour and material of upholstery and legs can the look of Max totally be changed.

As a result of the success of the standard chair, both the model with wooden and the model with upholstered legs, variants with armrests and with a cantilever base are added to this design family. The closed armrests are upholstered which gives the chair a very luxurious and comfortable look. In both variants the shape of the armrests follows the line of the chair. From the side, they have a trapezium shape with the slanted rear side and the rear legs being an extension of each other
